Word Of The Year project begins May 1
Our summer exhibit is based on Word Of The Year - a constant (yet gentle) reminder to focus on creating positive change. The WOTY concept was first introduced in 2012, by a health coach as a way to help clients set a single guiding intention rather than a list of New Year’s resolutions. Our exhibit features 30 words, each hanging on a clipboard with their definition. The exhibit includes black and white photos related to this theme. There are self-guided worksheets to help guests chose words of interest, then finally commit to a single word for 2021.
During the three month period of this project, various speakers will be asked to discuss a single word or topic as inspiration for daily life. The interviews will be posted on-line or be held as in-person Lunch & Learn events, Covid dependent. Check back for a list of speakers, dates and
more events related to creating positive change in 2021!
